never trust an artist, huh?

so okay, I really WAS planning on doing those two shorts, but Clouds has come in my way again. Chapter 8 is done and only needs to be typed and uploaded. Only, huh? Chapter 9 is nicely on its way, too. I don’t have any time at all to write anything this next one and a half week. Exams. I’ll be definitely done with those by July 27th, which I’m profoundly glad about. I need the break, the long break. I’m not sure about chapter 9, but neither do I know how to go on otherwise without leaving out essential bits and pieces of information or events or whatever. It’s very, very personal and kind of not really suitable for anyone under 13 or so [PG-13 rating therefore]. No I’m not sure about that at all. I’ve always said what’s private stays private, but I’ve broken my own parameter more than once here, so I guess it doesn’t really matter. I just need to settle this uneasiness about it.

break from clouds, back to shorts

After this ego boost this week, I’m more than inspired to write. Nevertheless, I’m taking a break from “Clouds in my Coffee”, not for long though. I have another short in mind that needs to be done before chapter 8 of clouds. So please bear with me. I can’t promise it’ll be worth it, but the short will belong to my collection of love stories and is actually kind of dedicated to the cause of Alzheimer’s, thanks to Kate Mulgrew’s raising of awareness and recent events in my personal life. I’m really excited about this one, because it means a lot to me.

involving in the creative process…nah, not really

Yea, I’m working on chapter like someone possessed, because I think I owe this one. And it’s a hard one to write, and an easy one. Easy because I feel how it feels, hard because there’s a lot of guilt involved.

In essence, Matt picking up the pieces Jason left. Nothing new there. But it’s the most disturbed Kate gets if you don’t ocunt later events. Probably the worst stunt she pulls with Matt, and one of the many she can never forgive Jason for.

This is turning into something bigger than I thought it would be. But it gets easier to write it down as I go with what comes naturally.

If anyone has any questions or wants to talk to me in person, you can find me tomorrow, June 8th, from 10 to 12 am at Starbucks, Friedrichstraße, Berlin. I’ll be there, sipping my coffee and writing chapter 8.
